The Band

Elyse Douglas (Manager, Lead Vocals) Call or Text: 541-419-6561

Elyse Douglas is the lead vocalist for Rock Steady. She is a self employed business owner living in Grants Pass, Oregon. Her musical journey started in Bend, Oregon as the lead vocalist for: “UpTown Jazz & More” and “Sweet Revival”. Music projects in Southern Oregon include “Downtown Sound.

Gary Dunsmoor (Lead Guitar) Gary has loved playing music since his first band in middle school. With a background in all manner of diverse music (blues, rock, funk, R&B, acoustic singer / songwriter), he brings an eclectic and diverse catalogue of songs and lyrics to share…..popular and obscure, gentle and heartfelt, fun get-out-your-seat dance music…music he loves. Gary has played here in the valley with a diverse collection of performers, song writers, musical theater, and for several years, with the Mostly Harmless trio. For Gary, it’s all about the song and the joy of sharing of music.

Curt Schaefer (Bass, Vocals, Piano) An accomplished guitar player and multi-instrumentalist, residing in Gold Hill, Oregon. He loves it all……..blue grass, rock, jazz and gospel. In the 1970s he had a gig playing in the US Army Soldier’s Show. He is active in his church as a musician and has made music a big part of his life since the age of ten.

Steve Cameli (Drums) Steve now resides in Rogue River, Oregon. He has a 30 year history playing Blues, Classic Rock, Country & Southern Rock. At age 13, he played drums in his first official gig. Steve performed with “The Righteous Brothers” in California in the 70’s, “The Storms” in Boulder Co. & toured for Ramada Inn all over the West Coast.

Stefan Barboza (Keyboards, Guitar, Vocals)

Stefan joined his first band at age 15. Loving music all of his life, he continues to perform, study and teach. For Stefan, the team work it takes to be a "tight" band is most important and he enjoys being a part of making that happen. Stefan is new to Grants Pass Oregon from Vacaville, CA where he was part of the local music scene for over 40 years.
